Week 3 Why am I here? Day 13
Part of loving God is offering Him the praise and worship He deserves. Read John 14:21. According to this verse what else will we do if we love God? There are two parts to this aspect of loving God. 1) We need to know the bible. 2) We need to put the bible into practice. How are you doing with these two aspects? What is one practical thing you can do to improve one or both of those?

when we follow God and follow his word and read the bible we are chowing our love for him, and when we show our love for him he loves us more and show himself to us.I know that with reading my bible i struggle, every once in a while i open it up and God always puts me in a chapter that i can relate to. so why i dont open it up more is beyond me? I think its because i dont read that much as it is that reading the bible seems to be a tough thing to get into. but i wold say i put the word of God into practice every day. i try everyday to live the way God would. I love my neighbors like i would God and i reach out to try and help anyone i can. Imn not perfect i do screw up sometimes but for the most part i can live pretty close to the bible's practices. I just have to do it with the bible tho. I either have to plan out a time which might be difficult but i have to do something that can get me to read my bible and maybe i might just start to read more in general.
ReplyDelete"According to the verse", if we love God we will obey his commands and He will love us. The bible is the word of God and it is so cool that we have this book at our fingertips to read, and show us how Jesus, Gods only son, walked this earth, just like we are right now. It's so amazing, and I love picking up my Bible and reading it, but its so hard to understand, but I work it out, because the word of God is the only true word!!
